“With a caring and compassionate view of human suffering, I do my best to contribute to society by enhancing patients’ voices, embracing diversity and inclusion through the translation and cultural adaptation of clinical outcome assessments (COAs), and by training professionals in the field of linguistic validation. I am a freelancer and I work primarily with my target language (Spanish for Spain) as a linguistic validation consultant providing the full LV service (including recruiting patients for cognitive debriefing and clinicians for clinician reviews and doing migration and SSR for electronic implementation of COAs). Being a clinician, linguist, and patient myself, I find that translating and culturally adapting COAs comes naturally to me. After more than a decade in the field of LV, I honestly believe that it is a lovely way of contributing to the improvement of people’s health and well-being."
